F.5 Info Format: Local Variables

The local variables section is optional. It is currently used to give the encoding information and/or the document language code.

<language>’ should be of the form ll or ll_cc; see @documentlanguage ll[_cc]: Set the Document Language. Only one language can be specified in the local variables section even if @documentlanguage occurs several times in a Texinfo document.
