Portability problems fixed by Gnulib:
- This function is missing on some platforms:
mingw, MSVC 14.
- This function crashes when invoked from code compiled with optimization enabled
on some platforms:
glibc 2.7.
Portability problems not fixed by Gnulib:
- This function cannot work correctly on character strings in multibyte locales.
Gnulib provides an alternative function
mbstok_r that works on character
strings in all locales.
