23 Modified command invocation

This section describes commands that run other commands in some context different than the current one: a modified environment, as a different user, etc.

• chroot: Run a command with a different root directory
• env: Run a command in a modified environment
• nice: Run a command with modified niceness
• nohup: Run a command immune to hangups
• stdbuf: Run a command with modified I/O stream buffering
• timeout: Run a command with a time limit
