Sphere Models

[Sphere Model 3]

Plans for Sphere Model 3 (DIN A3 Portrait)
2010.08.06.
This model represents a sphere divided into unlike triangles.

[Sphere Development 1]

Plans for Sphere Model 2 (Sphere Development) (DIN A3 Portrait)
2010.06.02.
This version has separate tabs, so the pieces are flush and don't overlap.

2010.06.04.
Added crosshairs for holes that can be used for pulling the ends together. Otherwise revised the plans and instructions somewhat.
2012.08.05, 2012.08.06.
Added octagonal caps for the ends and matching pyramids to be attached to the caps. This is meant to solve the problem that it's difficult to attach the spherical biangles as they narrow to a point at the ends. Please note: The caps and pyramids can also be used for Sphere Model 1, below.

Plans for Sphere Model 1 (Sphere Development) (DIN A3 Portrait)
2009.10.20.
This version has tabs attached to the pieces, so the latter overlap.

2010.06.02.
Replaced dots with crosshairs for pricking out the holes and added numbers and tick marks. Revised the instructions.
2010.06.04.
Added crosshairs for holes that can be used for pulling the ends together. Otherwise revised the plans and instructions somewhat.
