AX_FUNC_WHICH_GETHOSTBYADDR_R
Determines which historical variant of the gethostbyaddr_r() call (taking five, seven or eight arguments) is available on the system and defines one of the following macros accordingly:
HAVE_FUNC_GETHOSTBYADDR_R_8 HAVE_FUNC_GETHOSTBYADDR_R_7 HAVE_FUNC_GETHOSTBYADDR_R_5
as well as
HAVE_GETHOSTBYADDR_R
